If you wear blusher, you probably have a tried-and-tested favourite product and shade, as well as a technique for applying it. But as with all makeup, there are trends and advances in formulations.<\/p>\n

At its most basic, blush adds a natural-looking flush to your cheeks and some dimension\u2014particularly if you\u2019ve covered natural pink tones with foundation. \u201cYou’ve become two-dimensional once you put foundation, concealer, and no blush on,\u201d says makeup artist Sandra Yang. \u201cBut as soon as you put that blush on, it is now a three-dimensional person.\u201d<\/p>\n
