What\u2019s old is new again, and for Cartier<\/a> that means the revival of a beloved model from the 1920s. The Tank \u00e0 Guichets is the Cartier most are lusting for at Watches and Wonders<\/a>. Made famous by jazz legend Duke Ellington, the Tank \u00e0 Guichets is making a triumphant return in 2025.<\/p>\n

The ingenious design features a jumping hour display and a dragging minute marker hidden behind a fa\u00e7ade. There are four takes, all rectangular with a 37.6-millimetre x 24.8-millimetre ratio, in yellow gold, rose gold, and platinum. Each has a square jump aperture where 12 o\u2019clock would be, while the minutes display, as if smiling at you, is at the bottom of the dial. There is also a limited-edition platinum model of only 200 pieces, on which the time display is rotated counter-clockwise 90 degrees. On all, the crown is tucked away at the 12 position with the face of each watch smoothly brushed for an industrial finish.<\/p>\n
